We took a little trip to KY this weekend to see his parents and managed a side trip to Cumberland Falls. It is free to see plus we had as a added bonus of a classic car show in the parking lot!
To tell the truth the thought was in my head to just eat out Wednesday before our little trip. The easy way out is always in my head I guess. In the end it really wasn't hard to just get the frozen hamburgers and hot dogs thawed out and grilled along side the chicken.
I printed off coupons for eating out and we took the ones we had been saving that came in the mail.
We stopped at a rest area on the way down and got the motel coupon booklet. We managed to find one for the hotel we normally stay at. It was for $20 less than the previous price we paid.
We stopped at four I repeat four flea markets. It was fun but we really didn't find too much. My biggest deal was this pack of paper plates for $2.00. My one regret is that I should have bought more than one for that price.
I gave his Mom the afghan I crocheted last winter for Mother's Day.
