Seems like this time of year though I get tired of my own recipes and I want to try something new. When I find time, I love to browse through old cookbooks and find something that I know the family will love. This week though I'm trying a new one from the blog, Countrified Hicks. I just need to stop by the store for sour cream. Easy and frugal.
My three criteria for trying a great new recipe are:
1. I love when I have all the ingredients in my cupboard. If I have to I will buy something small but I don't want to buy an ingredient that I will only use once before it goes bad.
2. It has to be easy. I don't like to spend hours in the kitchen. Life is too short.
3. Easy clean up. I do most of the dishes at my house so I don't want 5 mixing bowls to clean.
Menu Plan for the week of 10/16/17
Monday Out to eat
Tuesday Easy Beef Stroganoff
Wednesday Roast, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy
Thursday Leftover roast beef sandwiches
Friday Spaghetti
Saturday Ham and Cheese Omelets
Menu Tip: Spice it up -try a new recipe that looks good to you and everyone will enjoy. It's good too if you already have most of the ingredients.
What's on your dinner table this week?
