I have a love/hate relationship with this time change. I hate that it seems like it's 9 o'clock at night when it's only 6 but I love that the children have light when the school bus goes by in the mornings. I hate to see the children standing out there in the dark. It just takes some getting used to I guess.
Do you have any dinners that you find yourself relying on week after week. They come in handy when you know you are stressed for time and you don't have a freezer meal ready. Looking back over my menus I have two that keep showing up, hot dogs and spaghetti. I can make them in a jiffy and not worry about going out to eat and everyone's happy.
What are your favorite fast meals?
Tuesday Out to eat
Wednesday Baked Chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes.
Thursday Chicken and cheese with nann bread and salad
Friday Crockpot Ham and white bean soup (sounds delicious)!
Sunday Hot dogs
Menu planning tip of the week:
Make sure you have at least a couple easy meals in your recipe file. They can make busy weeks bearable!
