My Frugal Ways this Past Week 11/19/17!

Here are the ways I've saved this past week:

I made two apple pies and froze one for Thanksgiving day.

I found $20 in my camera bag from the last time we went somewhere. It's good that I'm forgetful sometimes.  My camera is not working now though so hopefully I can fix it soon.

I went to the store with my daughter to look at a cord for my Kindle.  When my daughter realized what I was looking for she said, oh I have an extra one I'll give you.  So I got my cord for free except for a trip to the store.

Saved and froze the leftover homemade bread and cornbread I made this week for the Thanksgiving dressing.

I ordered a $5.00 Amazon card from AARP and a $5.00 Starbucks card from Swagbucks  for free with my points.

I ordered a one year subscription to Modern Farmer from One Twine on Recyclebank for free!  I love to think I'm a modern farmer!  So you go to get rewards, then view all rewards, and click on the 0-50 points one and there it is.  They will send you a coupon code then you order it (no credit card needed).

I've been crocheting winter hats for the homeless.  You may have heard how people are putting them in trees and telling people to take them if they need it.  Our town is going to do that soon.  I found my pattern in one of the free books I've listed and added a couple of more rows and some ear flaps to it. It's a very simple pattern so I can make them fast.  Here is the pattern book that is still free this morning (11/19/17).  Make sure you check the price before you buy (Amazon changes the prices frequently)
