What time do you guys plan on eating Easter dinner? We have always ate at 2. I don't know where the time came from but it's been that way for years. It goes way back as far as I remember in my childhood. We even knew that after we were out of the house that we'd better make it on time or the eating will commence without us. Mother threaten to do just that and she did act on her threats a few times. She was hungry.
This year due to circumstances we are thinking more like 4:30 or 5. This almost has happened before but at the last minute we resorted back to our original time. So if I asked this question before just chalk it up to old age or something. Here goes, If you eat later in the day on Easter what do you have to eat till then? Maybe a brunch? It would have to be simple or something I could make ahead of time. I don't want to be exhausted from all that cooking and washing dishes. We need something to fill us up and last us for awhile. I don't want any hangry people around here. You know what I mean.
