Garden Tally So Far for 2018

Leaf lettuce - Spring- So many pickings I've lost count ( we use it for dinners of wilted lettuce, used for salads, and sandwiches).

8 pounds of onions

35 Zucchini-great hashbrowns. lasagna (gave 4 to my daughter)

4 small beets -1 pint canned- the deer got the rest

Corn...was taken by someone who must of needed it more than us.

Tomatoes- I'm not sure how many tommy toe tomatoes -we all eat them as soon as they are ready. I've been freezing some now.

Regular tomatoes we have harvested 3 bushel so far. So far I have canned 17 quarts and 6 pints of tomatoes

Potatoes -1/2 bushel -gave some to the neighbors, had a cheat meal, kept some and canned 5 quarts.

Green beans- over 3 bushel- 21 quarts canned plus four messes

27 green peppers - Froze some, used some for stuffed green peppers, fajitas, and put three in the county fair.

16 spaghetti squash-froze them for later consumption

6 cabbages -made fried cabbage (recipe in the recipe file), coleslaw, and canned 10 quarts of sauerkraut.

Broccoli- three bunches -I want to grow more broccoli next year

8 apples - 1 red delicious 7 golden delicious

2 personal sized watermelons

14 Pumpkins harvested

Mustard greens- picked 2 bushels so far (canned 14 quarts)
