With the onset of our second winter this past week it felt wonderful to be able to go and see the butterflies at the Frederick Meijer greenhouse yesterday.

As an added bonus, I have a lot of blurry pictures of butterflies that just wouldn't hold still. There were so many fluttering around!  The grand kids just loved them (me too)!

I repaired a couple of holes in our winter jackets so that we can keep wearing them. 😞

With nothing to do outside we also have been watching more movies on Set TV these past 2 weeks.  They are On Demand movies that are free with the $20 a month payment.  We have watched Paddington Bear 2, Yumangi, and The Greatest Show on Earth.

Sold an item on a Facebook group!  This went towards the vacation fund.

Started back making Iced tea Syrup.  We drink a lot of tea so it's nice to have some made ahead.  It also keeps us from drinking pop.

I took some egg cartons to the neighbor and she gave me a dozen eggs.  What a great trade, but I didn't expect them at all so that was so nice.  Thanks Cindy!

I won a free gallon of our favorite ice cream, Hudsonville, from a blog contest and a gardening book from Goodreads.

Goals

Work on Swagbucks more.  It seems like I got tired of it for awhile but I feel renewed energy to get back with it now.  So far this year I have 3,000.  I hope to earn at least 12,000 Swagbucks to use for gift cards for Christmas.

Keep Spring cleaning.   I got sidetracked by Spring break and I hope to get back to the den this next week.

What are the ways you saved this past couple of weeks?
