My Frugal Ways this Past Week 7/29/18!

Here are the ways I've saved this past week:

I pulled up the lettuce and saved the seed. I also harvested the onions that were there and hung them up to dry in the garage.  We have more onions scattered in the garden to harvest later.

I bought tea ($2.99 for a 6 pk) and the laundry detergent (simply tide for $1.49) at Kroger.  We also bought some meat markdowns -steak (4 tbones for $15.00) and stew meat. I made sure to fill out the survey for more fuel rewards.

One of our yearly goals was for a new screen door but we decided on just fixing what we have.   So far the screen door from Mom has a new handle and a closer.  I believe half the battle is finding the parts you need.  Now we just have to put in new glass and trim for the side lights and bottom.

I was given a pizza at an event (cheat day today).

I found two recipes that we loved this week:

Low Carb Cinnamon Tortilla Chips with Cinnamon Pecan Cream Cheese Dip

Quick Paleo English Muffins-  Even though these were quick I made up some for the freezer.  It's easier than getting all the ingredients back out again.
