We loved finding the great deals on apples. We found this 1/2 bushel of Gala apples for $8.00. Sorry for the blurry picture but I realized how fast the apples where going one morning and decided I'd better take a picture immediately. They are so good and sweet.
We also found $2.00 lb bacon and hams for about $3.50 for 3 pounds. Our freezer is now stocked! What great deals did you find this week grocery shopping?

Those are great prices! We got a bushel of apple seconds for $6. We are going to make applesauce and pies for the freezer.

I am still enjoying the great deals at CVS. Extra bucks earned for prescriptions and beauty club have allowed us to purchase needed items for seafarers who will not be home for Christmas. We live near the ocean and lots of ships stop here.
