Meijer had a great deal on Turkey for Thanksgiving this week. I bought a 21 pound turkey at 33 cents a pound for $6.93! I'm wondering if I should go back today and get another one, or if another store will have it on sale. I just might have to make another trip.
There is a lot of ice around the house so I took the turkey right to our freezer in the garage. At least we are getting sunshine!
What great grocery shopping deal or deals did you get this week?
Be sure to

Wow, that is a great price for turkey! We bought cream cheese for 99¢ and butter for $1.99 this week.
Yes we got our butter too for $1.99 at Aldi ..limit of 6 though. I got So excited about that turkey I forgot. I'll get more later to freeze. You got a great deal on cream cheese Belinda! I'll be looking for that!
I say go back. Doubtful that there will any others much cheaper. Goodness what a great price for meat.
I was at a flea market and found an unfinished quilt top for $1. I told the lady that I was in a group that sews quilts for the children’s cancer ward at UAB hospital. I was going to finish it for them. She told me she had more material that I could just have. I will pick it up next week. On the way home I stopped at a yard sale and got a box and bag of material and scraps for $10. My lucky day!
So true Cheryl! I'll head back!
What a deal Peggy!! Both of you are so nice to help. Love that!
Well done Vickie and what a great price on turkey and glad you picked up some butter at a good price too :). As said I would go back for another turkey.
Here is what we did with our grocery/household needs and fuel stocks shop last week
- Using and coupling a 10% off discount supermarket online code, weekly specials and another 5% off using our RACQ wish e-gift card discount we saved $31.94 on our fortnightly grocery shop.
- I ordered an RACQ e-gift card for fuel saving us another $10.93 or 5%.
- By combining another 10% off online shopping code with BigW, combining specials and another 5% off RACQ e-gift card we were able to buy 2 x dvd's DH wanted, 3 pizza trays we needed & a set of 4 plastic cups for traveling in the cars saving $12.45 on usual costs.
Have a fantastic week ahead everyone :).

Last night before the sale was over we made ourselves get out and get another turkey. We bought a small one that will be just for regular everyday dinners. It was kind of great to be in the bright lights of the store and walking around anyway.
What great savings you had on grocery, fuel, and kitchen needs! I love that you look deep into all the ways to save. You are an inspiration!
