My Grocery Shopping Deals this Week (today) 2/15/20!

All I did was say to my husband this morning that we were on our last wheel of Pinconning cheese, and he said let's go.   After checking the weather we went on a little trip up north.  Our first stop was at the Cheese Factory and we loaded up with more of our favorite cheese. I personally just like sharp or mild cheddar we buy, but he likes weird stuff  different varieties.

The prices are great there. We also bought some String Cheese for the kids.  It was $4.99 each or buy 1 get 1 free.   So, now they are stocked up too!

We decided to go a little further to Northwoods Outlet and I found a few more grocery deals. These items were close to their use by date.

The ketchup was a $1.00 (I bought 3).

Milk Chocolate morsels were 2 for $1.00!  We now have plenty to last us for long while!

Something fast to eat in the morning for $1.00!

That's a great deal on those milk chocolate chips! We found cake mixes and birthday candles for .25 each on clearance at Walmart. We have candles to last a few years!

Wow! Great deals, especially the chocolate chips. When I find a deal on those, I put them in the freezer. They last forever. I managed to make it through the week w/o going grocery shopping. My daughter is picking up a bag of one of appless on sale for me tonight, so that will be the extent of my grocery shopping. I had to laugh when you crossed out weird! ;)

You are doing really well Kay! I can't believe we are out of anything but there isn't an apple in the house. You make me want one.
I wonder if I'll like that cheese. If not be has a lot of cheese to eat. Haha

The chocolate chips were an amazing deal! My daughter in law goes through tons of those in her home baking business.

I guess I need to try tracking food deals. I'm not as diligent about them as I was when I was younger.

I did get a few boxes of granola bars at .50 to $1.50 a box from the Little Debbie company store.

Great deal on the granola bars Jenny! A price book would be a great thing to do. Prices seem to be going up so it would be good to know when to start stocking up. A lot of things I know in my head like you but to put it down on paper would be good.

When you get some apples, try the cheese with it--like one bite of apple, then one bite of cheese. You might like it that way. Before I retired, I used to take that kind of snack with me to work. Have a good day!

That's a good idea...I'm going to try that. Thanks!
