It's Not as Quiet Anymore!
The bird singing is more in the background and you can hear more car noise. It's just not as quiet anymore. At times I hear more trains ..the frequency seems to come and go. We were out back with the kids on Sunday, looked up, and saw a airplane. It was like we had never seen a airplane before. We were in awe.
Car and truck factories are opening up slowly. I guess most of them will get back next week. I heard that Ford had to close two factories again just after opening because two employees tested positive.
Is it all too soon?

Noise is picking up here too but thankfully we are not up to full air traffic again yet. We are starting to feel like normal here except fast food is still closed for dine in and buffets of course are still closed. I had my hair cut this morning and we have been out to eat three times. All of those restaurants were locally owned places where we have been customers for years. There were honestly so few people there that we felt safer there than the grocery store. In our state there are about 2600 active cases by testing out of 5.1 million people so we don't worry too much about it here. Right now I feel more concerned about the large amount of rain we have had and all our huge trees that could come down if we get a big wind. The risk of mud slides in the mountains is really a concern too because last time we had this much rain people were swept away when the hillsides let go unexpectedly and where never even found. That haunts me. I cannot imagine the sheer terror of what those people went through. We are going to head over to our house at the lake for ten days tomorrow. I am curious to see how it is over there in that area because those people are just different than here at home. They are more self reliant and rough and ready. I do not know the grocery situation so we are packing all of our food for the stay. It will be so good to get away!
That's a great idea Lana to take your food there. That way there will be no worries about it.
I've seen mudslides on the roads but I can't imagine being worried about being swept away by one. Stay safe.
I have been hearing rain lately, so much rain. But things should clear up and start drying out tomorrow. Hoping to pick up some hot dogs and burgers to grill this weekend.
Virginia is in phase one of opening. There have been over 34,000 positive cases and 1099 deaths. So I am not going to be in any rush to go out to eat or anything. Not worth it to me.
We hear it's going to be great for grilling out too this weekend.
Virginia cases sound terrible too. Michigan has over 53,000 cases and 5100 deaths as of today. So me and you will be glad to be dinning at home and be glad we are safe. Not worth it to me either.
