Not everyone is ready yet!

Our numbers keep going down in Michigan.  Such good news but I know we need to keep vigilant. Masks are the #1 thing when you go out to help keep those #'s going down.

So, we've been opening slowly and not everybody is ready yet.  For instance some restaurants are still not open yet (not that I would go) and our doctor is still making video calls instead of you coming into the office.  Quite a while ago we called the oldest daughter and she helped us do the last appointment because like some of this technology stuff gives me a headache.  Frankly,  it was at the beginning and I thought surely by the time of this appointment tomorrow  everything will be ok and we will go into the office.  I realized yesterday I needed to buckle down and figure out all this video appointments.  I believe I've got it down and  I'm so proud of myself.

I think I'm a dinosaur sometimes in this fast moving world but I'm not going to let it get the best of me!

Numbers are way up here and I am wondering about all the protests where so many have been close. Our church decided not to reopen next week because of it.

Kudos to you on figuring out the video appointments. I've not had to do that yet, but my dr. did ask for a phone call, which we did. Unfortunately, our numbers are going up here. I will be relieved when they start to go down.

It just could very well be or family gatherings? I'm glad your church kept a level head and decided to stay closed. I heard that singing can spread it so I guess it's better to be careful!.

Ours stayed up for so long...I hope you're start to go back down soon.

I definitely feel like the world is spinning out of control. I have no idea what day it is half the time. I spent the morning on the phone scheduling appointments that I've put off as long as I can. I have lab work in another week. Thankfully my dr has opened only the lab at her office....nothing else is being done in person. I go at my scheduled time, sign in then wait in my car for them to call me. I got the first app. of the day so I feel good about that.

Glad the cases are going down. I think they are in va too. We had 1000 cases daily last week, but there were about 400 the past few days.
Good for you in figuring out the telehealth stuff. Hope your appt goes well. I did a telehealth appt last month when I burnt my foot. Sort of awkward waving my phone camera over my feet, but it saved me from going into the office. :)

Hi! Our numbers are high and continuing to rise here in Arizona. It puzzles me why some people refuse to wear a mask. We have picked up take out a couple of times. Our church is still using Zoom. We've been doing pick up or delivery for groceries. We have a neighbor who has kindly picked things up for us, too. My husband had an in person doctor's visit, both wore masks. The doctor even told him he didn't think going into restaurants to eat was a good idea. We're not fearful, just trying to be cautious. Wishing you the best as we all navigate these challenging times! Zelaine, I'm so glad your being smart and wearing masks. That one simple think will help us greatly. It amazes me to the amount of people not wearing one.
Yeah we are not going out to eat anytime soon either.

Oh sorry about your foot Kathy but isn't amazing how you got it taken care of! It wasn't that long ago that would not of been possible.
Yeah VA is going down too. We need more good news.

Jenny that's the kind of appointment I was hoping for. Maybe he'll do that soon. I was just having that sort of feeling tonight like the world is spinning out of control. Hope it stops soon..I'm about tired of this mess.

Hi Vickie and well done and we hadn't had experience with video doctors appointments either and only just learned how to do it recently ourselves.

We succeeded too but I think it is what we were brought up with as to how savvy we are with things.

Once we know how to do it it is fine though :) .

We are still having a few medical appointments in this way but the doctors office has been open through the whole pandemic with social distancing.

They are not recommending the wearing of masks here in Australia unless you are immunosuppressed or you use public transport so a majority of the populous is not wearing them here. Good news though since social distancing and the recommendation of hand washing our flu cases have dropped 83.3% from the same time last year.

Have a great week ahead :).

83% wow that's great Lorna! I love that and I hope our #'s go down all over the United states like that soon.
I think I get nervous over new things in the tech world. Like you though once I have it I'm good. Have a great week too Lorna.
