It's a beautiful morning!

Yesterday was depressing but maybe it's because I talked about that virus on the blog.  So no more news about that for awhile.  The sun is shinning and it's a beautiful morning.  I'm going to keep busy and not think about it too much today. Seems like some days go like that happy or sad -it's a roller coaster on those days.  I'm leaving it to God and I'm going to do the best I can.

So I'm scheduling my next few days.

Today

That appointment thing.

Mop the floor.

Do a little garage work (I've been slacking off).

Watch the grandchildren and make cupcakes

I made pork chops on the grill yesterday-so I'll make sides of wilted lettuce (from the garden), green onions, cornbread (in the freezer), and maybe some corn.

Take a nap and read a book.

Garden work (there is always a weed or something out there)

Tomorrow

Clean out the fridge

Do a lot more garage work (I've got to get busy)

Garden work

Watch the grandchildren

Please a comment and let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

I've written out a few recipes, worked on the blog, paid some bills and worked on those. Feed the cats and gave them plenty of loving. LOL...it's good to look on the brighter side of life. :)

We had to go to Aldi yesterday since we were out of most everything perishable. The fear is back here. I could see it in people's eyes. The homeless population continues to increase and so many are just wandering around in a daze. Hunger or illness? I don't know but it was enough to make me want to stay home for a good while.

Oh no Lana, that fear in people's eyes is so sad. I don't blame you for wanting to stay home. Gosh that can't wait for this to get over. Stay safe.

I'm glad your getting it done. Today we will look on the brighter side for sure!

My Kindle came in yesterday, a week or more earlier than I expected so that was a really fun surprise. I've been organizing my kindle library.

Yesterday I spent the entire day tracking down a prescription the doctor's office sent who knows where. I finally gave up and they sent another, but then the pharmacy was out of the medication! It put me in a bad mood for sure. Today I got a few groceries; the shelves were empty in several areas due to protests still. I was wearing my mask but many were not and there were children running wild. I was glad to get out of there. I also ordered from Walmart for pickup tomorrow. Our grandkids are not coming because they went to a horse show last weekend and I just don't think a 4 year old and a 17 month old are good at social distancing! My DH's health is so fragile we don't want to take chances.

that's great Jenny! How do you organize it. I'm not sure how to do that so it's a jumble mess of cookbooks, homesteading, and romance.

Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day...
Hope you had a good day with yummy cupcakes and a nap.

Oh your right about the grandchildren but I bet that's hard to not to see them.
Sorry to hear about the store shelves being empty. It always seems there is not a lot on the shelves here. I think pick up is the way to go for sure.that's the only way my oldest daughter will shop.

I love that song Kathy. Actually husband went to the store and brought some cupcakes home. It's like he reads my mind sometimes.

It is very tedious. I found this article & am trying to follow the directions given for Kindle but it has directions for organizing on a desktop & through the app as well. https://www.pcworld.com/article/3538389/how-to-organize-your-kindle-library.html

I cannot understand why they don't let you make folders but you can't. You make collections. I've made a collection of all the cookbooks I have but that's as far as I've gotten. I plan to make collections of different categories....I assume it will keep everything in each category but you have to go in & put each one in individually....very tedious. Which is why I haven't gotten more done. I think I have around 160 books in my library right now. I delete most of them as I finish reading them. I rarely go back to a book.

I need to do this for sure. It will be well worth it in the end. Thanks for the link.
