Update on the Bathtub:

Some of you will remember that we developed a crack in the bathtub right in the middle of the scariest part of the pandemic for Michigan.  We didn't want anyone in our house but we called around to find a solution.  At first we thought about one of the put a new tub over you old tub places. A sales man came and told us we had a plastic tub so that couldn't be done.  They could however put in a new tub for a great big price.  I sanitized after he left.

We finally decided to order a bathtub and surround at Menard's.  Sounds easy right?  Well, those factories were not running at capacity  and we had to order both of them and wait.  Well, that's been over a month and they have finally arrived! We went yesterday to pick up the surround finally.  Now to get the guy we want to come and find time to work for us. I think the hard part is coming but it's got to be done.

In the meantime we put some flex tape on it and that has worked perfect at holding back the water.  Thank you Flex Tape!

I am glad you are on your way to getting your tub replaced. It is amazing what we don't even think of being in short supply until we go to the store. We new toilet parts and I am hoping that when we go today that they are available.

Oh I hope so too Lana! Someone is bound to have them.

I know you will be so very happy when it's all finished. I keep hoping nothing major breaks at my house....at least nothing inside my house.

You know we stopped mid-remodel because our contractor walked out. That, with the pandemic & keeping my grandson every day has completely destroyed what little motivation I might have had. I need to finish up some simple things in our main bathroom...staining trim & painting the vanity. And I guess I could do the same in the bathroom that will probably never be remodeled now. I have the paint if I would just get it done.

I'm going into a grocery store tomorrow to try to find some decent steak for my husband for Father's day. I'll be going when the store opens then heading to the big supercenter for my grocery pick up. Fun times!

I have paint too Jenny and I'm the same way. the grandchildren certainly can keep us busy! I think I'll have time when their mom is home for vacation.
Good luck finding the steak and have fun picking up groceries LOL.

Vickie-just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your blog. I forget how I started reading you a long time ago, and really enjoy your personality. I feel like we could be friends if I lived in your neighborhood! I live in Northern Wisconsin and seem to have the same garden struggles! Thank you for being here. My best-Nancy

Oh Nancy we are neighbors already! Wisconsin is some place I would love to visit someday. Wouldn't that be great to be close neighbors? Thank you Nancy for coming by and giving me a smile tonight!
