Grocery Shopping

We are going grocery shopping finally this afternoon. It's been two weeks since we been grocery shopping.  We are usually a once a week grocery shopping family.  We figure though the longer you can stay out of the stores the better.   I'll update you on any good deals I find later today (I hope I find some) .

Did you find some great deals this week?

Update:

Image may contain: food

Our deal grocery shopping this week was 4 wheels of cheese and two packages (b1/g1 free) of string cheese all for $25.00.   We went on a little road trip to Pinconning Michigan and stopped at the Cheese factory outlet there.   We are all set for cheese for a long while.

Please a comment and let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

I went a couple weeks ago... I know I am going to have to make a trip to Krogers as I have paper coupons I want to use... not looking forward to it at all.

Five pounds of shredded cheddar for $5.99 at the outlet grocer. Also 1.50 rolls of sausage and one pound bags of restaurant potato chips for $1.29 plus Pepperidge Farm bread and buns for $1. I hope you find some deals too!

I'm with you, the longer you can stay out of the stores the better. Hopefully it won't always be this way though.

So funny our deal was cheese too! I'm glad you found some great deals Lana!

It's just not fun going shopping. Kind of freaks me out so we make sure we don't go a lot. The cheese factory required masks to enter and that made me feel more comfortable.

Sometimes I think this has to be a nightmare. That really it can't be true but alas it is. Like you say hopefully it won't always be this way.

Great deal on the cheese. We love cheese at our house too.
No deals here. I did a Kroger pickup today, and there were shortages. I went to food lion a week ago, and none of the employees had on masks so I won't be going back there for a while.

I know just where you coming from Kathy. The cheese place was good ..big sign, mandatory masks. I love that but the store up the road was a free for all. Basically whatever you want to do.
We won't be going back there till this over.

My grocery trip this week netted about a third of what was on my list. A store employee told me they had not been able to get their shipments due to the protests in the Twin Cities. I did get a deal on cheese, too. I love cheese!

I hope your order comes out good for you and you find great deals Lorna. Those orders might be for the best right now.

Cheese can make a dish delicious! I found that out with my potato soup the other day..cheese and chives were a great addition.

I heard they told a lot of truckers to just get off the road. So far our protests have been peaceful- I love that.
