Sleeping Good!

I woke up this morning at 7 (which is a unbelievable sleep for me), by the sounds of someone yelling "package" followed by a thud.  Oh yeah I need to backup a little to tell you this story. We have cooled down and our temperature so perfect we can leave a window open (love it).  Don't get too sad if this hasn't happened to you, we will get back to unbearable hot weather I'm sure soon.
He was looking at me when I took this picture.  Not sure what happened.

You know, we have ordered so much online but I thought this was early for a delivery.  And that thud, was very concerning.  So, after the cat quit climbing all over me and putting his tail in my face, I decided I better go looking for the thud.  Nothing was at the door.

I looked up what I may have ordered lately.  You know sometimes I forget and you will  find me feeling around the package trying to decide what it is, as I'm walking back from the mailbox.   Well, after looking everything up, I've gotten all my packages delivered.  The mystery of the voice and the thud is still there.

Maybe I heard that from a neighbors house?  So weird.

I'm thinking I need to go back to bed. I'm also thinking I need to see other people before I go out of my head.

Love this cool weather.

That's weird. If Amazon did not send the pictures it would sometimes take a good bit of looking to find the package. We are in the middle of a real heat wave here with no end in sight. But, we have A/C for which I am thankful. Our daughter in Germany is on the third floor and no A/C so I do worry about them but they have had cool weather this summer. I would give them cool over us for sure. Happy Monday!

Hmmm....a mysterious thud and package, interesting. LOL Must have been a neighbor's delivery. How neat that you have cool weather enough to open the window. We've had so much delivered here too. I break down the boxes and put them all in one to make it easier on our garbage man.

Maybe you dreamed you heard a package delivery and it woke you up.
It’s raining again here! 3rd good rain in July and this is normally just a hot dry month

I hope you get some relief soon Lana. I'm so glad you have a/c ..it would be tough without it.
I'm glad it's cool there in Germany for your daughter too!
Have a good Monday too!

I was going to say a dream too. I had a dream that I heard a crash and thought the cat had broken something. It seemed so real but dh didn't hear anything.
Glad you have cooler temps. We had rain last night, yay!

I really do need to break down our boxes more too.
One neighbor is really close..maybe it was their house or a dream. LOL

I'm pretty sure it was a dream.
Yeah for the rain. Our gardens need them!

Maybe it was a dream? That is strange.

We live so far out we know nothing will ever be delivered before 2 PM at the earliest & sometimes it's been as late as 7.

We've had enough rain this weekend that I haven't had to water since Thursday! Whoo hoo. I walked through this morning though & will need to water a few containers that are partially under the eaves of the house. I'll do that this evening.

I talked on the phone with my best friend for an hour yesterday. We've been trying to walk through each others' gardens every other weekend...not going into each others' houses or anything. It her turn to come to my house but she won't be free next weekend. One good thing about keeping my grandson is that I am just too tired to miss people very much. On the weekends I'm so happy to sleep until I wake up & laze around most of the day.

Starting next week my son has training at work during first shift. So we won't have to do the 5AM sitting for two whole weeks! But instead of having my grandson come at 8 (or 9) he'll have to come at 6:30 so my son can get to his 7AM class on time. I haven't decided yet if it's going to be a good trade off. I'll be tired either way but getting to stay home should make things a little easier.

Oh honey, he's a cat--THAT'S what happened to your photo! They seem to know just when that shutter is about to click, and they will turn their face away--happens all the time at my house!

Those dreams can seem so real that's for sure. Yay for rain!

Vickie @Vickie's Kitchen and Garden said...

Oh that sounds like a great way to see someone. Social distancing garden walks! Smart!
The busier you are I think the better it is for sure. Although I know you must be exhausted. I hope the trade off works for you.
