Grandpa's Tiny Farm, Frankenmuth, MI

We decided to take the kids to Grandpa's Tiny Farm in Frankenmuth MI yesterday.  It was a beautiful day and it was a great outing.  If you are familiar with Frankenmuth,  Grandpa's Tiny Farm is located across from Bronners Christmas Store.  The cost of admission is $5.00 per person.

The first animals you will see when you go into their welcome barn are rabbits.  Okay, be prepared about this, because your kids will want to keep rabbits.  They will even want this specific breed because they are so soft and friendly (this specific breed costs $250 a bunny on craigslist).

They will ask you about this all the way home.

My advice is to tell them you will have to do some research and you will think about it.  Oh shoot, maybe you should just tell them no.  Plain old no. It's up to you.

You are then given a planting cup full of seeds to give to the chickens,

Image may contain: one or more people, shoes and outdoor
one friendly rooster,

Image may contain: outdoor and nature

and one treat to give to the reindeer.

You will see a few more animals plus a museum of antiques.  Be sure to save your planting cup till the end and you will be given dirt and sunflower seeds to plant.

Grandpa's Tiny Farm is well tiny but it's a fun outing.  If you think about it, other farms charge for the feed to give to the animals, so I think this is a pretty good deal.  It would be especially great for toddlers who's little legs tire fast but we all loved it.

A great social distancing outing!

Aw sounds like a fun day. I know the grands loved it, esp the animals.

That farm sounds just like our kind of outing. Lots of friends here have bunny pets so it must be a thing now. I'm glad you could all get out and do something fun! It is crazy hot here. We had breakfast in the screen porch and it was already like walking into an oven when we went out the door!

Give them any animal to live on and they are good.

Oh man it just might be a thing here too. You know, that type of heat to me feels like I'm on fire. We received a 3_day break but the heat will be back tomorrow.

I think you should just say no....oh it is so hard to say no to grandkids.

I've been thinking about taking my grandson to pick peaches. He's two so we won't pick but just a small basket full but he begs to pick food in my yard every single day. I don't have that much to pick.

You know he will have a great time picking peaches! They always love the picking part..I don't have much to pick in my yard either right now. Nothing's really ready in our part of Michigan but that fun outing is going to be on our list!
