So far I've canned 3 quarts of mustard greens.  These take the longest time to can in the pressure canner-90 minutes.  I believe I will be able to pick more soon.

The neighbor had rhubarb plants.  I couldn't resist buying one.  I failed the test of only grow what you like -I  don't even like rhubarb.

Roses are still blooming here,

and so are the sunflowers.

With the wind we are having the leaves are coming down steady in our backyard.  I managed to rake some over the strawberries for mulch.  What a sight I must have been raking leaves in the wind.

Your roses are beautiful, and I love your sunflowers. Great job with the greens, and I like rhubarb if I add enough sugar. ;)
Hope you have a good day.

I'm going to try more sugar next time! Have a great day too Kathy!

Your flowers are beautiful, Vickie. Your mustard greens look so pretty in the jars. I love eating greens for good health.

Your garden is still so lovely. We haven't had rain really since July or August. It's so dry here.

We finally got things moving this morning on our new garage door. And it looks like we'll be building a new outbuilding & probably a loft to the side to park a car (I didn't know they were called a loft....it's like an open shelter, just the roof to drive under).

Since we're building new I'm getting a large window & a work table built inside to grow plants in the winter....I'm super excited about that. Hopefully it will all be done in late November.

Maybe your getting a carport? We would love to have one, they are so handy! I'm glad your making plans to have room to grow plants too. Just what you need.

We try to eat them as much as we can. They really seem to help me when I get sinus problems. So strong!
