We went a couple of nights ago curbside shopping. We need fun and to us it's fun picking up free stuff that people have left at the curb for garbage. We wait till it's dark and most of the people have their trash out. Of course now it's dark at 5 p.m. so we wait till after the news.
We bring everything we find back and leave it in the truck for a few days. For one thing we are lazy and for another we figure the germs will die down some. When we finally mess with things, we clean them with disinfecting wipes in order to kill more germs. So, things have been outside for quite awhile and I thought I would show you a few of the things we picked up.
We found this toy (what do you call it?) for the kids to play with. It was just laying there for us to pick up by their trash cans.
It's in the repair shop right now (the kitchen table) so that he can repair that one handle. It came with the 2 balls even!
Have you ever seen such a pretty bike? Not a thing wrong with it.
I found a planter for next year's garden. I love a bit of whimsy!
He even found another wheel barrow so we both found something for us. Yep, all the wheelbarrows are his!
How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Wow those are great finds! Won't the kids love playing foosball? Great looking bike too! And I love the planter. You hit the jackpot that trip.
You found some cool stuff!!!! We call that a foos-ball table. Used to love that game at the skating rink!
We had such a good time and today they will too! Have a great day Kathy!
I don't remember playing it as a kid but my daughters did. Something for them to do while they are here for awhile. Thanks to you and Kathy I know what to call it!
i am a bit jealous of your great curbside finds. Of course I am very rural so there could be cool finds in town....I've just never gone in to look. I would need to learn what days the trash pick up is in each neighborhood.
It looks like we might not have any get together at all for Thanksgiving, which is fine with me. The covid numbers have an influence on us I guess. There are four in my church right now with covid & my daughter-in-law's uncle has it. Praying he doesn't pass it on to the rest of his family. They are isolating.
I hope you find something! We have found some things in the country but of course not as much.
So sorry to hear about the your DIL's uncle having covid. Here they only want you to have Thanksgiving with just one other family. That community spread is just too great!
