We found this cute washer and dryer toy. I'm convinced that it was never used. There are still little tags (a,b,c) where they put it together that I couldn't get off as I disinfected it. Ok, I didn't try too hard. It also came with a little laundry hamper.
Little granddaughter just had a fit over it. She has a little kitchen and she has been making due by putting the "dirty" baby clothes in the oven and then drying them in the microwave. So, this was right up her alley. I love her imagination!

We don't have a little one anymore but we couldn't pass up this little wooden rocking horse. I cleaned it up and gave it to the neighbor.
How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Wow that is just the cutest washer and dryer! I love it!
What great finds! My fridge from college is still working after many many years. It keeps drinks cold in the family room for watching movies. And I love the little horse too.
What a fun find for your little granddaughter ❤️
Wow your fridge lasted a long time! I love that your still using it. I guess he'll use it in the garage..wish we had room in the living room though.
She is washing and folding clothes this morning.
Wow....what amazing finds! I'd be pretty excited about that washer & dryer too.
I went thrift shopping this morning. The weather here is so cold, windy, spitting snow. I was hoping that would keep most people home & it wasn't too bad. I only had problems with one young man...he was wearing mask thankfully....on his phone. He kept getting right up next to me, reaching around me. I just walked away.
I didn't find anything very exciting. Two puzzles for my grandson; the ones I have are getting too easy for him, two craft kits for him & a candle. I bought the candle for the container. It looks alot like a McCoy potter piece so I'll finish the candle & clean it out for a plant.
My grandson has been begging me to let him sew. I've been doing a lot of embroidery but he's only 3 so I don't want him to use a needle. I found the sweetest felt sewing set with plastic needles for .50. It makes four hand puppets. They're very simple so I think he can do them. So I was excited about that.
Stay safe.
Aw, that washer/dryer is so cool! I'm so old I remember the old cardboard kitchen set I had that my dad put together! They look so real now. How fun for your little granddaughter.
It's amazing how real they look. We really had to use our imagination before!
That's what I do too..just walk away and turn my face. That's all you can do.
I love the sound of that sewing kit. I'm going to look for one.
Oh my! What a find and already a little one ready to use it! Brings back memories. Thanks for sharing. And the books.
Sometimes we are just blessed with junk that is very useful!
