Free Kindle Books for Today 1/19/21 Plus Meijer Donut Time!

Free Kindle Books and deals for today 1/19/21!  Make sure you check the price before you buy, Amazon prices can change frequently. If you don’t have a Kindle you can download your favorite Kindle Book on any tablet or smartphone with a free Kindle app

**As a Amazon affiliate I earn a small percentage when you purchase items from one of my links (the item doesn't have to be what I have linked here).  Thanks so much for helping to support Vickie's Kitchen and Garden.

I'm on my way to Meijer's for donuts for the kids.  Once a week donuts happen usually on Monday's. They had a great day off though for MLK day so I'm treating them today.

I was surprised and happy that I could just pick the donuts I wanted last week.  Before they were placed on a plastic lined tray and if you wanted the cream stick you had to buy 3 frosted donuts.  Now I can just get two and not be tempted to help eat the other ones!  Yay for progress!

I need fresh fruit and veggies too plus I hope to find some deals.  If I do find a fantastic deal..I'll post it later in the morning or afternoon.

Update:

How can you have a list and forget something?  I can make that possible for you!   I forgot the All (detergent) after the $1.00 Meijer MPerks digital coupon.    I'll try to run by there soon.

I think I got caught up in the clothing.

Granddaughter was checking out her new leggings I bought.   These are all warm pants not knit.  I paid $3.00 a pair for the black and white pair and $4.50 for for both of the red and black pair for next year.  She approved and my work is done.

Have you found any fantastic deals lately?

  2. I forget things on my list all the time and it is so frustrating! We have found a ton of deals lately and I suspect we might be able to go till the end of the month without shopping again unless I see some great deals in the new ads. The deals have been so good that I have 70% of this months grocery money left at this point!

  3. Good goin' Vickie! And those leggings were a great deal. I have to make lists or I forget the important thing I went to the store for. We went to PicknSave today (Kroger). We try to only go shopping every 2 weeks. Hubby bought some more meat deals and I tried to get healthy veg & fruits but did do some cheating. He wanted the 2/$10 broasted chickens even tho I had ground beef defrosted to make salisbury steak for dinner we will have chicken! That was our exciting day.

  4. I love your donut tradition with your grandkids. I got a Christmas thank you note from one of my college age grandsons today. I sure missed seeing him at Christmas this year! Oh yes, it's easy to miss something on my grocery list!! Not so much now, as I'm ordering from Walmart. Whenever I think of something I go right away and put it in my cart! Recent frugal finds: I have ordered several new T-shirts from Christianbook or as we used to call it CBD. Most were on sale for $8-$10. I can only wear all cotton, so I was really pleased to get these for such a low price. I've been wanting some cute shirts to wear for everyday. The ones I've been wearing are getting tired--or maybe I'm just tired of them!
