Our cat has taken over the recliner! I put a blanket down and he sleeps on that. This is now his chair and if you want to sit there ..well, he will sleep on you. Sometimes he just looks at you mean.

What a beautiful kitty!
Our cats have taken over the house. Each has their own spot. One is so hyper that if you move her from her spot, she quickly goes back to it.
My cat sleeps on the back of the recliner. It is HER chair and she will allow me to sit there but no one else. Though that is only because she likes sleeping on my head when I'm sitting there. Good thing she is a light weight cat. Ann
Our little dog can be bossy...she tells us when to go to bed! She likes her routine. She's the first indoor pet we've had that we allow on the furniture. We used to have a black labrador retriever...goodness they shed! We trained her to stay off of the furniture & out of certain rooms. She was so good. After her though, we decided no more indoor pets that shed. Now I have a morkie. Most of the time she is either on the back of the couch looking out the window or in her bed by my desk.
Cats are so loving and cute but bossy! I thought mine was spiked rotten so it's good to hear they are all like that!
Too funny Ann ..I can just see this cat lying on your head! My cat is fat..he would squish my brain.
The life of your dog sounds blissful! I love big dogs too but like you can't stand all the hair plus we have a smaller sized home.
My cat has some traits of a dog so I call him a set-top lol
