The things I've stopped doing this past year:

Making goals- Oh I'm hopeful that I will accomplish things, I'm just not worried about it this year.  My focus is on staying alive (I tend to exaggerate ..I know).

Making a menu-yep, I just love to fly by the seat of my pants, at least for now.  About once a week if you live here, your lucky to get anything but soup and sandwiches for dinner and your lucky to get that...

No Spend January- Every year, No Spend January, was a big thing.  There were rules like no estate sales, grocery bill is low, and no needless spending, etc.  Well, now I want to keep my pantry full and I think I've become a hermit. Oh, how times have changed.

Trying to read as many books as I can.  Books are a great learning resource and so entertaining but this year it's been hard to set my mind to it. Oh, I set my goal on Goodreads but it's doubtful, let me tell you, real doubtful that the goal will ever happen.

The thing is, when this is over, I know I'll get right back in my normal groove of doing these things.  You know what?  I can't wait!

Oh I want to get back to a normal and sane world.
I haven't made any goals this year, but we will survive.

I stopped setting goals when my son graduated from high school. I pushed hard all those years raising him....after that I was done.

But I did decide to make some habit trackers in a journal this year. I didn't set a goal really.I just made trackers for some health related things & in Feb I'll see if I can do at least as well...that is a goal of sorts I guess?!

I'm writing my weight down every morning, then tracking daily stretching & planks & random walks & bike time. I need to build some strength. I just have struggled so much since my hysterectomy three years ago now.

I need to be like you and get with it. We are all done celebrating holidays and birthdays so it's time for me to stop eating badly.
I had the same about 10 years ago. I could hardly take a walk down the street before and had to build up strength in my legs after. I know though it was very necessary.

I have only been out a handful of times except to the DR and hospital. Being so isolated can also be hard on your health. Love my hubby but right about now I could talk to almost anyone. LOL good thing I never see our mail lady.

I agree with skipping "No-Spend January." I know many of the members of The Tightwad Gazette Fan Club" group on Facebook do that, but I am replenishing things as I use them--or at least putting them on my grocery list and ordering them. I've decided to do this even if I still have a couple more packages of whatever it is. Like I have several cans of corn, but as soon as I use one, I still buy another. Because I'm ordering groceries from Walmart, there are no sales to wait for--as I've always done.

I've seen men say on the post man in our neighborhood out by the box. Of? Course standing 6 ft away...poor man LOL!

Heavy hard what I've been doing that too. Use and replenish as they come on sale making sure to rotate.

That savory pie cookbook is right up my alley. I like savory more than sweet.
