The thing about remodeling your living room..you can blame being messy on the work.   Yep,  it's all because we are remodeling.  Like, if we weren't remodeling it would be so clean.  Looking at things stacked everywhere, "well we had to put it somewhere."  ha ha!

We need to go look at carpet this weekend and let me tell you about the fireplace brick.  They said it was hung up at the border.  Now that's scary.

I'd better go get those kids for homeschooling plus today is Friday so McDonald's breakfast it is.

What's going on in your neck of the woods.

Wonder if I said I was remodeling, if they wouldn't mind my messy house? Nah since covid, nobody comes by anyway. :D
Hope you have a great weekend, and have fun carpet shopping. Those grands will enjoy their breakfasts. What a fun tradition!

Definitely the remodeling! Just changing out our stove from a drop in to a slide in was a total messy house, too. I am sorry about your brick. We are putting in a stair lift and it is backordered and no idea when they will get it. GRRRRR......... Home improvement is stressful enough without all the hold ups!

Oh, I like that McDonald's breakfast. We used to pick up my niece every Saturday and would get McDonalds for breakfast when I was a teenager. Those wee good times.

Yikes on the bricks at the border. Hope they get to you soon.

So true...we haven't had a visitor that wasn't family since covid. What am I worrying about?
Monday's are donuts ...wednesday is rallys shake...Friday is McD breakfast. My daughter thinks they are spoiled but really it's helped them have something to look forward to. This year has been tough.

It's so worrisome when this stuff doesn't come in. I dreamed last night that we had two different brick on the fireplace (no it was a nightmare). Your gonna love the stair lift..so very handy!

I do hope they remember the good times when they remember this pandemic. I see that you remembered..love that!

That sounds like the headache we went through with metal for our well house...except all the mess was outside.

When we got new countertops I dreamed every night while we were waiting that they were put in and then we saw that they were something horrible like purple! Actually I love what we chose and still do!

Oh shoot on the bricks! I hope you get them pretty soon! I can let my house get pretty messy, even though I'm not remodeling. I did make up my mind a few weeks back that I would make a real effort to keep my desk top clean and I've managed to do that. More recently I've been making the effort to keep everything put away off my counters in the kitchen. I'm doing pretty well, but not fantastic on that one, so far. I hope to improve. I think it's great that you are "spoiling" your grandkids. I always have enjoyed doing little treats like that!

That's so funny Lana! I guess we had better not do this too much, we need good sleep.

Someday we will get back to normal and we won't have to worry about backorders. Your right it's a headache.

Your doing good Kay and it's worth it in the end.. After all the stuff that I got out of the living room and dining room I'm going to get with it and organize like you!
