So, it's going to rain later today and the husband wants to till the garden before we get the flood we always seem to get this time of year. We usually get so much rain that you can't step in the garden without sinking up, let alone try to plant anything. Oh, we've take chances over the years with terrible outcomes. The potatoes and seeds rot. We just have to wait for it to dry up.
For our Spring Garden this year we were so lucky to get two raised beds for the back for dirt (ha ha) cheap on Marketplace last year. I've already planted one of them with garlic, snow peas, lettuce, and Spinach.
I need to do plant green onions today. Husband says, "there is nothing like (wilted) lettuce and onions."
The Yard Sales are calling too today. There is a sign on every corner. I want to go but I guess I'll be too busy having fun in the garden. That's more important.
How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Your garden is looking great! I love wilted lettuce too.
Hope your garden will dry out soon. We have had lots of rain too.
oh we need so much more..so I'm hoping for more rain but then I'm not. You know I need to work in the garden.
I see the light at the end of my spring garden chores. Goodness I feel like it's taken me forever. There is still a lot to do but I feel like I've made it over the hump.
So much to do- I'm glad your getting it over with. Then a little break maybe?
I love wilted lettuce and green onions! I know you will enjoy them!
