With the help of the grandson yesterday we planted four rows of potatoes and my cabbage plants. The lettuce, snow peas, big onions, and green onions are growing great. I'm holding off on vegetables like the tomato plants and pepper plants that might not survive a freeze. You just never know when a frost might come in Michigan. Our planting day is usually Memorial Weekend.
We also had our first outside the family visitors come to our house yesterday. Felt so good -they were vaccinated and we were too! Felt so good yet surreal at the same time, you know? I didn't know quite what to do with myself, I was so overjoyed.
The grand girl tried out her battery operated scooter for the first time. We bought two of them without chargers, at a garage sale for $5.00 a piece. We paid for a battery for $40.00, I believe it was, on Amazon and husband looked in his stash of chargers and found a fit. She has been riding it like a pro!
