Free Kindle Books for Today 5/26/21 Plus Wonderful Garden Rain!

It's raining today or at least this morning.  It's a wonderful garden soaking rain that sounds so pretty with the birds singing in the background.

Last night I planted green beans, peppers, and more cabbage, but I'll still need to plant more beans, tomatoes, and muskmelon.  Hopefully if it dries up a little I'll get that tonight.  Then I'll be done with the vegetable garden just in time for a downpour tomorrow Friday!    Yeah!  We need it desperately.

Today, though I'll be cleaning that fridge and ordering new brake parts for the husband to fix the brakes on the truck.  He shows me them and I order.  That's all I know except he will save us $400 on a brake job.  So I can press the buttons!

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

We are getting a nice cooling rain this AM as well. Having someone who can do mechanical jobs sure is a money saver.
Have a good day

No rain here in the low country of SC. Hot and sunny. Afternoon temp is 85 with heat index of 94. I'm staying inside. :-)

Yes we were talking about how we can't do it all, weare not great carpenters for example but he can fix cars and we can garden. So we try our best to do what we know how to do.

Oh man, I would stay inside too, Melissa. That's some dangerous high heat.

We are having lovely weather. The tree leaves are shimmering in the late afternoon sun as the wind is blowing. Is that a picture of your yard. It looks so pretty. I admire you for all your hard work in the garden. I used to love having a vegetable garden, but I can no longer do that.
