Free Kindle Books for Today 5/27/21 Plus Old Clothes and Scarecrows!

I've never made a scarecrow but yesterday I got it into my head to make one.  I even watched a youtube video on how to make one LOL.  After the turkeys having brunch every morning for awhile I decided I needed some help scaring off the wild animals.   It could very well scare a person too ha ha!

There was a bonus to this idea of mine.  Husband went in his closet and got me some his old clothes. He is always supportive of my wild ideas and it made the closet is a just a little lighter!

Now to go get the beans in the crockpot because today's dinner is wilted lettuce (lettuce from the garden), soup beans, and cornbread.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Now that is a really good looking scarecrow!
I'm craving some wilted lettuce now. Yum! Haven't had any in years. Some of my lettuce is big enough, and I need to put bacon on the grocery list.

I think your scarecrow is better dressed than Hubby is sometimes LOL

He was so happy..that dinner is better than a steak to him. Hope you get to make some wilted lettuce soon.

I'm going off line this evening & sitting in front of the tv..we have an evening of heavy thunderstorms & tornadoes to look forward to.

Very nice scarecrow! I hope it works. I was having a pretty good day until my printer started grinding and had a horrible paper jam. I worked on it quite a while, but decided it was toast! So, I spent a few hours checking out printers online. Wow! They have really gone up in price since I bought my last one about 10 years ago! I finally decided on one and ordered it. I can pick it up curbside tomorrow at Best Buy. My daughter is going to come over and help me get it all set up--much more complex than my old one. I'm sure I could do it, but it will be less stressful to have her here helping me.

Sorry to hear about your printer Kay. I'm glad your daughter is going to help you. Sometimes I get started on stuff like that and I could just cry. Very stressful.
