Purefix has a great series out called Sons of Thunder. Episode 5 deals with Gibson Ranch is getting ready for the rodeo. Jacob and Logan bond over a ride until Jacob discovers the truth.

The Sons of Thunder series bases it's stories on themes that involve:

• Teamwork and cooperation

• Loyalty

• God’s unconditional love

• Putting so much faith and trust in our parental figures only to be let down

• Abandonment and feelings of not being good enough

As you watch this episode you will remember many Bible Verses including:

Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:68 (NIV)

My Review:

Sons of Thunder is a great true to life series.  The emphasis on we are all not perfect but we are loved unconditionally by God stands out to me and it's a reminder that it's never too late to accept his love. We have to remember we are all not perfect.

I love how that Jacob wants to share the gospel and offer his help and ideas where he can.  His character tries to show helpfulness, peace, love, and understanding to everyone.

I can so relate to this series and want to continue to watch each episode to see how it all plays out.  This is some great acting of what could be some real life scenarios.
