Today...we are going to tackle plowing the garden. Well, he will and I will watch and rake. It's been so warm here I think he can plow the top today and again on Friday after it dries more. We don't plant here till after Memorial day but when we can we plow to help it dry.
Menu Plan
Monday Beef stew (made like hamburger stew-I had a jar of my canned vegetables from last year)
Tuesday Spaghetti
Wednesday Homemade pizza
I can't think of anything beyond this because we are so busy so we are going to fly by the seat of our pants.
What's on your menu?

Won't be long now. Your grass is nice and green! Our big hurdle to get past is sealing our deck because our container garden is there. Our neighbor will be home from college this weekend so he is going to help next week.
We had a roast pork loin last night and it will make a few days of sandwiches, too
Tonight we are having steak and mushrooms with mashed potatoes and zucchini
Can's remember much else about the menu. Shopped at Aldi this morning and more price increases but a few things went down a bit. Having a bit to harvest at home would be a help.
Lana, I love those big meals that last for a few days so easy!
You know it's always good to have help, all these things take help and lot of energy.
We shopped at Aldi's here too and our problem besides the increases are the lack of products. Having a garden will definitely help things!
Sounds like you are getting ready for garden!!! YAY. It is always nice to plan again.
So good to be outdoors again! The garden is a good reason to be out there!
I baked in a cooking bag 9 drumsticks and potatoes. Tommy at a large drumstick with vegetables. Now, I have three drumstick meals in the freezer and another for tomorrow day. I love having frozen protein selections in the freezer and fresh vegetables in the refrigerator! We have green beans and cabbage right now.
Yay for a garden! Your starts are looking well! So far I've gotten some parsley (planted last year that survived winter), some basil, and a head of broccoli from mine. There's another head that is just about ready to harvest, too. Everything else is coming along nicely so far.
Menu for this week:
Monday- American goulash
Tuesday- Leftovers/fend for yourself (several people were under the weather)
Wednesday- Grilled chicken kabobs, rice
Thursday- Pan fried pork chops, corn, cheesy rice (with leftover rice)
Friday- Sausage and peppers
Saturday- I don't cook
Sunday-I think meatloaf, but I'm not entirely sure yet
Gosh Vickie, those tulips are beautiful. You can look at that picture next February and just sigh! Lotta work but so nice to get out in the dirt. I planted peas yesterday.
Your so blessed Jennilee that your parsley survived the winter. That's always helpful!
Your menu sounds so good! I'm looking up american goulash!
Isn't it nice Nancy to get back outdoors! I'm always so happy in the Spring. I planted peas too but I wonder now that we have skipped spring will they survive.
Hi practical...your dinner sounds great. Love having make ahead meals like that!
Vickie, I just love how easy it is to comment on your page now. Thank you for doing this. On so many others I’m doing my name and URL, you know the drill. Your tulips are beautiful! Your garden is coming along nicely.
