Frugal Friday 7/22/22!

We stopped by an estate sale yesterday and I was able to get three books for my gardening library for .25 cents a piece.  If I have a question I'm sure it's in here.

Husband went to pick up some prescriptions at the drug store and they were 50% more than last month.  It was shocking and I thought well maybe it's wild inflation or something.  He said he asked about it and she said we would have to call our insurance.   I did in the morning and she hadn't even charged our insurance.  We received a $62.00 refund.

On that trip we also took back a bad watermelon to the store and were refunded $4.99.

I found a great deal on Flashfood for beef brisket.  You can read about it here if you haven't already.

How did you do saving money this past week?

Good thing you called about your prescriptions. Goodness, that was a lot of money. Good deal on the gardening books. I hope you enjoy them. We had a good frugal week with yard sales, so we are happy. 😊

I can't believe the incompetence these days! I wonder how many people were over charged for meds who don't even know it!

You know Lana, I was chalking it up to inflation till I thought about it. It took me 30 minutes so I made $62 in thirty minutes. Well worth it!
