My Frugal Ways, Great deals this Week 3/3/23

Winter is still here in Michigan.  I guess we had it too good too long.  We've had a couple of ice storms and tonight we are expected to get a lot of snow.  Spring will be here soon...I hope!

We went to another city and I picked up a Meijer Flashfood order while we were there.  I ordered it  the night before and found a great deal on cottage cheese, 4 quarts of chocolate milk plus 2 gallons of 2 % milk.  Total was $5.48.

With a winter storm that is suppossed to dump inches of snow on us tonight, I thought to stop by our Meijer this morning to get things we needed.  I found these strawberries from Florida for .99 a quart.  They were not listed in our ad but they were on sale!  Strawberry jam!

We finally found the coffee machine we needed at an estate sale for $20.00 this past weekend. The other machine we had gave us warm coffee..we like it steaming hot like this one!

I also donated books at the little library at our nature preserve.  I picked up a few for us too.

How is everything in your neck of the woods?

You got some good deals.
we keep getting rain - not snow. It is amazing how just a few miles can make such a difference. I am over the rain - but will gladly take it over snow. It is supposed to be colder tonight and maybe flurries. Rain and wind has been our life!
Stay safe and warm.

I haven't followed in a long time except on FB. The strawberries are a great deal! They are much more than that here.

I'm glad you visited again Jenny. Just last week they were $2.49 and I was excited for that. Now I'm jumping for joy!
Have a great weekend.

Cheryl, It's amazing such a short distance can make such a difference. We were just about 30 miles south yesterday and their snow had melted all the way and there wasn't any ice. We could see grass!
Have a great weekend.

Great deals! We bought those same strawberries for $2. We had rain, rain and more rain. We are expecting high winds later today so I am praying all the trees stay upright.

Hi, That rain can uproot those trees for sure. I hope they are o.k. for you during this wild weather!

What a great deal on the coffee machine. I got one very similar for Christmas. I love it. Stay warm, Spring is coming... sometime. I am in the South and we broke the record yesterday with 85, it was so nice and warm for a change.

Oh Peggy, you are in a good place. We received about 6 inches of snow last night. We are hoping for a warmer spell to help melt some today. So maybe 40 degress would be good.
Have a great day!
