Fun, Garage Sales, and Flash food Deals 9/21/24!

I won 4 tickets to Disney on Ice on a blog at the Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit.  It was a great show and we all loved it!

I bought 2 gallons of milk from Flashfood for $2.00 a piece (someone wanted a glass before I took a picture).  We usually don't buy Country Fresh as it's a little higher than average.  Milk is running around $2.78 for Meijer milk a gallon and $3.49 for Country Fresh milk a gallon.  How much is milk in your area?

I went for a walk and a ground hog crossed the street in front of me.  I'm very slow so it had plenty of time.   All of sudden it saw me and ran as fast as he could under a neighbor's bush.  Kind of funny, I so hope he stays down at that end of the street...he is big.

It's been so warm here that garage sales are everywhere still.  My best find this week is this little raised bed for $15.00.  I hope to get more raised beds in the future.

Sounds like a fun time.
I haven't seen my fat 'hog' for a bit. At least I kept it out of my yard this year!

Milk is $2.68 here. That FF deal was awesome! Woo Hoo! How exciting to win 4 tickets to Disney on Ice, I love it! I love the raised garden bed, it's still warm here too, so plenty of yard sales here. I found two towels and a Cracker Barrell reusable bag in a free bin today.

Oh great deal Belinda-love those free bins!

Oh man, I hope it stays out of your yard Cheryl. We get families of them hogs here!

I usually stock up on half gallons of milk at Kroger when it's a loss leader week on that. I paid $1.39/half gallon. I priced the gallons and it's right in the range you pay, around $2.78/gallon. We never finish a gallon and though I do make yogurt and ricotta if I have milk that isn't being used as it ought.

Oh I bet the grand girl loved Disney on Ice! How fun!
Great milk deal. I usually pay $2.99/gallon for Kroger milk although I paid $3.69 last week for Food Lion milk since I was out and it was the closest store.
I love the raised bed. Won't it be great not to have to stoop down to weed. What are you going to plant in it?
Have a great week.

Sounds good Terri, we are right on the same price. My mom used to get half gallons as it was easier for her to pour and none to waste. Have a great week.

I was so worried about her being too old Kathy but she loved it. They were so professional on the ice skating and the movie parts were just so perfect that she couldn't stop watching.
Sometimes we have to pay a little more for milk since you were out. it was well worth it I bet.
I love that no stooping part on the raised beds. We need more like this so I'm looking. Don't know for sure what to plant. I guess the lady had tomato plants in them.
Have a great week too.
