Good deals, Saving Seeds, Crocheting, and Canning!

I spent $6.00 at Meijer.  I bought two pairs of shorts and a skirt in the clearance rack for $2.00 apiece.  I'll be ahead with clothes next summer.   Better than Goodwill!

I'm crocheting a white afaghan.  Something I've been seeing laying accross the bottom of beds.  Yep, got to have one ha ha.  This will only cost me about $2.00 with the good deal on yarn on bought at a garage sale last month.

Starting to save seeds.  The table will be full soon.  You can read how I save seeds here.

Right now I'm starting to clean mustard and turnip greens for canning.  I had to take a break in between bags for the back.  I'm getting it done though.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

An all white afghan will be pretty.

The white afghan is already beautiful. Three pieces of clothing for $6 at Meijer is terrific! I love looking at the clearance racks when shopping. Seed saving is so important. I read recently that a gentleman is saving his watermelon seeds as so many of them are seedless these days, so he wants to save the ones he can.

I can't wait till I'm done Cheryl with canning and gardening though it's a slow process. I'll have more time soon I guess with winter coming.

i like seedless watermelons but seeded watermelons taste so much sweeter and they are bigger most of the time too!

Great deal on the clothes! Good to shop the end of the season sales.
Love the afghan; it is going to be so pretty!! I don't think I could have white though as I have dark cats who shed like crazy. Great idea to save seeds. The heirloom varieties taste so much better too. Hope you have a good week, and I hope your back will feel better.

I have a cat too Kathy and I've got to thinking about this white afghan...I can see him loving laying on it. He is gray. I wonder how this is going to work out...ha ha
