We went to the Frankenmuth Auto Fest this past weekend and we had a great time. As we were leaving, Auto Value gave us all this free stuff, tshirts, hats, umbrellas, tire gauges, two gallons of rain x windshield washer fluid plus more! It's too much to list! So fun!
Hint: Sunday's are half off admission and booths are ready to close down. Good time to go!
In just a few minutes I had enough apples to make 5 pints apple pie jam. The chickens loved the peelings.
The days have grown shorter and the gas is much higher so our rides in the car have now gone down to 1 instead of 2 a day. Usually in the morning it's all the errands and the evening one was for pleasure. So now we just have one a day so we make sure we go around the block. The temp is about 60 degrees in the morning and goes down below that at night so it's about too cool for a bike ride but we might try it soon. Frost is just around the corner.
As of the last time we went out gas was $4.99 a gallon on average here well except for the new Amoco gas station just down the road who has a little lower gas price. Hey, we got some. How much is it in your area?

You guys go out every day? I had to chuckle, as some weeks I never leave the property, except to walk!

We do go out everyday...we have to get grandkids home from school too. We try to make our errands at the same time I can't walk that far so car rides do get me out. Of course you get $10 gas and that will have to change
That's a great load of freebies! I have cut myself so bad on one of those apple gizmos that I am now afraid to use it. Be careful!
Gas was $4.29 a gallon here yesterday, ugh! It's depressing. I love all the freebies you got from the auto show, how neat! Your apple pie filling looks delicious too and will be so delicious when cold weather strikes.
Here in southern WV gas is about 4.39.

My daughter wanted to open a jam right away...It was tempting but we have some strawberry jam in the fridge. It will taste better like you say when cold weather strikes (which is coming soon here)

Gas is $4.19 here in VA. Diesel is about $6.39, and I don't know how farmers and truckers will be able to afford it.

I'm not sure either on the truckers or farmers...I bet they are upset over the price increase for sure!
