DIY- How to Fix a Vertical Blind

Such a easy way to fix Vertical blinds and takes just a few minutes!

We have had our blinds in our living room for many years.   Every once in awhile one of the slats will end up on the floor.   I can blame it on the older blinds, child, a dog, cat,  man, or woman.... in exactly that order. Then we are left with a opening big enough that anyone can see through and a window treatment that no longer looks nice.

Unless you have some extra slats hanging around you might have to go and buy new blinds.  That can be very costly so I've devised a quick fix (it will last quite awhile).

All you will need is a hole punch for paper.   It's perfect for this job because it will also punch a hole in blinds!

Now the process is simple just+ punch one or two holes as close to the original hole in the blind as possible.  You may need to punch twice in order to make the hole the size you need.

Then put the slat back in and you now have your privacy again! It's a fast, low cost, and easy fix!
