My Menu This Past Week 2/13/16

When things get crazy at our house we sometimes split the work of making dinner.  That happened on Thursday.  We made a  deal that I would make the pork chops and the cornbread and he would make the soup beans.   Frying the pork chops was a breeze then I grabbed the bag of cornbread muffins out of the freezer.   He just looked at me so funny.  I guess he thought I did that a little too easy!  Oh it pays to be prepared!

Now to just get him to help with dishes! 

Our menu changes frequently in my home with use of leftovers, garden produce, deals, or special occasions that come up. With that in mind I have decided to tell you what we have had this past week instead of what I have planned ahead.

Sunday        Leftover Chicken Parmesan Pasta Bake (a recipe from a new cookbook I'm reviewing Prep Ahead Meals from Scratch)

Monday        Bean,rice, and beef  Burritos

Tuesday        Salmon Cakes (freezer) and french fries 

Wednesday   Date night

Thursday       Pork chops, Soup beans, and Cornbread (freezer)

Friday            Smoked Sausage with  Leftover Soup Beans, mashed potatoes, and fried cabbage. 
Saturday        Pizza with the grand kids
