Our Menu Plan for this Past Week 3/12/16




The sunshine and warmth are back in Michigan and seems like there are a million birds around our house.  I guess it's because there are more of them now and they are extremely happy to be home!   I'm extremely happy for the sunshine too!  

Just got a call and the grand kids are begging to come over. I imagine a trip to the park is in order.  The little one can almost say Grandma!   I thought of everything for them to call me when the first one was born.  I thought of me maw, granny, all of that.   We ended up with just Grandma.   I'm comfortable with that and they eventually learn to get the big word out of their mouths.  Now husband is Pop,  I don't know how it happened but it did.  Fits him well.  

Now the question is should I hurry and vacuum before they come or just what till after?  Ha ha.


Our menu changes frequently in my home with use of leftovers, garden produce, deals, or special occasions that come up. With that in mind I have decided to tell you what we have had this past week instead of what I have planned ahead.


Sunday           Chili in the crock pot

Monday          Out to eat

Tuesday         Leftover chili with added cheese on the top

Wednesday     BLT

Thursday        Chicken Nuggets (THM style)

Friday            Spaghetti

Saturday        There is stew in the crock pot with a can of cabbage from last summers garden added to the recipe.
