We decided to do it...we all needed it. We hemmed and hawed about it but I think we made the right decision in the end. We went to Florida and we loved it! We stayed with my sweet sister in law and had a great time enjoying the sunshine.
We had a blast taking the grand kids to the beach.
The water was memorizing! They loved looking at the shells and sinking their feet in the sand.
We enjoyed bonfires at night and just being around family. We came back relaxed and ready to handle not handle the Michigan weather. On the way back we actually ran into a snow storm. It's all melted now and getting warmer. Thank goodness because really I'm a little cold!
So we spent the rest (plus a little more) of our No Spend January money on a vacation to remember instead of our bedroom remodel. I mean it's been close to 20 years since we have done anything in there so what's another year? We will get to it...eventually.
