We made a day trip up north to Mackinac Island this past week. I bought the tickets for the boat ride to the island for half price on Black Friday last year.
This is just one mornings harvest. |
In the garden I harvested Tommy toe tomatoes, regular tomatoes, zucchini, cukes, and green beans. We also harvested 7 lbs of potatoes from the school garden.
I went to our local library's book sale and got a stack of books for $3.15. I'm in book heaven now.
I did the usual savings of using a big department store bag for a garbage bag, washed out Ziploc bags, hang clothes to dry, and shopped the deals/used coupons.
Menu-What was on the Dinner Table
Monday Stuffed peppers

My Goals for this week:
In the garden:
Weed the vegetable and flower gardens.
Harvest the green beans the deer hasn't eaten.
