My Menu Plan for this Week 9/3/18!



Happy Labor Day!  

Today is hot but I heard on the weather forecast that the end of the week will feel like Fall. Usually I'm sad when the first signs of Fall show up but this year I could use a little chill.  I just said a little! I'm ready for heartier meals like soup and roasts that go along with that.  

Last night we sat outside under the tree and took turns pulling up the green beans.   We ended up with a bushel out of four rows.  The yield is down a little.  I believe it's because of lack of rain during parts of the growing season.  Even though I watered, it's just not like Mother natures rain.  We have plenty of beans though and this morning we are canning and drying them.    So I needed a easy meal and we dreamed up one during our breakfast this morning.


Menu Plan for this Week 9/3/18 (some of them are repeats from last week when I decided to change the menu at the last minute)

Monday .......Frozen battered shrimp, Picsweet Roasted Potatoes (received free from Bzz Agent), and green beans (we are breaking up and canning beans today so we have determined this is going to be a easy cheat meal)

Tuesday         Out to eat (I'm going to eat something good)!

Wednesday    Chicken, Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes, and green beans

Thursday        Cheeseburger Pie (trim healthy mama recipe)

Friday             Leftovers

Saturday         Hamburger Stew

Sunday            Taco Salad Casserole
