We had been craving pizza but every low carb pizza crust I made just didn't make the cut. So when one of my friends on Facebook posted her picture of a low carb pizza it looked so delicious I couldn't wait to make it.
This pizza crust passed the husband test. Listen, he can somehow stick his nose up threw his forehead if something doesn't taste just right. I was anxiously watching and the nose stayed the same. He declared it a winner!
She even said I could share this recipe with you. You just can't ask for better friends!
Recipe for Low Carb Pizza Crust
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Spray cookie sheet with non stick spray
Ingredients
1/3 cup of heavy cream
4 oz of cream cheese (softened)
3 eggs
1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. of dried oregano
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
Beat together softened cream cheese and eggs till smooth. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and spices and mix again
Spread 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese evenly on cookie sheet or pizza pan
Then pour egg mixture over the cheese.
Bake for 375 for about 15 min. Allow to rest for 5-10 min.
Add the toppings that you love, Put back in the oven, and bake till brown and done.
