Yesterday we had some grilled chicken leftover so I thought I would make a fast chicken and dumplings dinner. I cut up the grilled chicken into bite size pieces and added about a quart and half of water then added a can of cream of chicken soup. I then followed the rest of the recipe and made up the dumplings. It was so quick and dinner was done in 30 minutes. We were in leftover heaven!
One warning though ...if you don't clean your pot right away it becomes like cement with any of the leftovers. I let mine soak over night and now we are good ha ha!!
What I plan to have on the dinner table this week:
Monday Hot dogs and chili sauce
Tuesday Hamburgers (and potato chips for grandchildren)
Wednesday Stuffed peppers
Thursday Leftovers
Friday Easy Stuffed Peppers and green beans
Saturday Eating out
Sunday Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops and a salad
What's on your menu this week?
