Menu Plan for this Next Week 1/13/20!

Looking under the bed yesterday at some of the food storage I realized I need to use some of these canned goods.  My canned goods are ok but the manufactured cans from the store were just a little past best by date.  Thank goodness I have this little challenge in January -I think there would be a lot more food waste in my house if I didn't.  So, I planned the menu plan accordingly around some of them and just left them on the counter.  I'm going to leave them there and hopefully the queen doesn't visit ha ha.

Here is what I plan to have on the table this week?

Monday               Rosemary and thyme Grilled chicken on the George foreman, green beans, and a salad

Tuesday               chicken noodle soup

Wednesday          sauerkraut and sausage, baked beans, and a little cornbread

Thursday             Hamburger stew  (1/2 pound of hamburger made with my canned tomatoes, frozen corn, and potatoes)- We didn't make this last week so it's back on the menu plan.

Friday                 Stuffed green peppers and  baked sweet potatoes

Saturday              Leftovers

Sunday                Out to eat (we did not do this last weekend for his birthday-there was the storm that didn't happen (thank goodness).

What's going to be on your table this next week?

That is a good idea to put the items out that need to be used, I do that too and it works because I get tired of seeing it there!

Sunday we had leftovers from new recipe that I will not make again but we were good and ate it when I really wanted to go out after church!

M-mac n cheese
T-chicken and noodles
w-lemon garlic salmon
TR-I can't remember and I am tucked up on the couch under a blanket so I am not going to look!
FR-Goulash
ST-pizza from the freezer that we did not eat over the weekend

So sorry about your recipe that didn't turn out so well. I hate those too!
Oh we haven't had goulash in forever. Going to do that soon!
I think tucked under a blanket sounds wonderful and I just might do that too.
