I crocheted three heart dishcloths and many more dish scrubbies this week. There were all made with materials I had on hand.
I was ready to give up and buy a new shower curtain when I tried a magic eraser. My shower curtain gets heavily stained here with the iron from our water and I just buy a new one when I get tired of trying to keep it clean. It just took a few minutes to clean the stains though and wasn't messy at all. I then put it in the washing machine and it looks brand new. The last time I bought one I spent 12 dollars so that's quite a bit of savings for a little bit of work.
I made some more sourdough waffles and then tried my hand at making English muffins. They are good, but let's just say that I need to work on making those muffins look English. I'm not going to give up, sometimes new skills take a few tries for me. I made up some egg and cheese sandwiches for the freezer with them.
We went up north and bought some cheese and great deals for our pantry yesterday.
For our date night, we used the tickets I gave him for his birthday to see a bluegrass band and then used the gift card that was gave to us by my sister for Outback Steakhouse. We had a great time!
I ordered 10 free prints from snapfish with free delivery with a code that they sent in a email.
My goals for this week:
I plan to do more winter sowing.
Put the milk chocolate morsels we bought in jars and seal them with the food saver (there is no room in the freezer). Then I want to can blueberry jelly this week (it didn't get done).
