There is a such much heartache going on right now with the pandemic, tragedies, and our economies. I want you to know I'm praying for all of you and the world during this trying time.

My goal this week is to try and find a blessing every day in the midst of it all.  So here it is:  We were blessed with a white Christmas.  I know many of you were blessed (?) with a big snow but ours was only a couple of inches.  It was enough to brighten our day and night..we definitely needed some light in this dark season of the year!

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

There is so much suffering, and it is heartbreaking.
I love your idea to find the blessing in each day. We woke up to about 4 inches of snow on Christmas morn. We haven't had a white Christmas in 10 years. We don't have to go anywhere so I don't mind the ice and 9 degrees temp this morning.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Brr it's cold there! Compared to you we are having a heatwave at 21 degrees! Time to just enjoy the beautiful snow.

I love your idea of looking for a blessing every day and appreciate the prayers. I will add you to my prayer list, my online friend. Will enjoy pictures of your white Christmas while enjoying the cool weather and sunshine here in Arizona.

I thought of you this morning when I was reading grocery ads and saw Luck's beans are BOGO this week. I like your idea of finding a blessing every day. I will do that too.

Snow is something I am so happy to have too because it's so rare here.

We had to cancel our Christmas plans. I developed a fever on Christmas Eve of 100.4. A sore throat & a little dizziness but I didn't feel super bad. I cancelled our time with our kids for Christmas evening & tried to get a covid test. Everything was closed.

I finally found a place on their national website to schedule a test. Saturday was the first day open & it was already booked so I took the first slot available...Sunday at 11:15 about 30 miles from my house.

Christmas Day my fever started going down. My throat was still sore & I never felt very sick. By evening my fever was gone. This morning it was normal, no sore throat..nothing.

So if I'm still good this afternoon I'll cancel my test. The thing is, I didn't feel that bad but because of covid...with my sore throat I took my temperature. Then I assessed how I felt....in the past I would never have even thought about it because I really didn't feel very bad. But all the drama of it...so frustrating.
Especially trying to stay away from my diabetic husband.

Oh well. we are all good & for that I am very grateful.

I know I know..every thing worries us like that too. It's better to be safe than sorry thoigh. I'm glad your feeling better. I pray that you continue on to wellness and don't have to take that test.

Those blessings are there sometimes we got to think a little differently.
