I've never gotten used to the time change and if wasn't for the children needing to go to school, I would leave all the clocks unchanged.  Yes, I would.  So, every Spring I would be back on the same time as everyone else.

You see, in the winter my sleep patterns never change so I still wake up when my mind tells me.  So, that's always near 5 a.m. but of course when the time changes in the Fall it's more near 4 a.m.  Maybe, if I was working I could eventually adjust, but being at home I never have.

On any given day I'm up at 4 trying to be quiet in my house so I don't wake anyone.  We have approximately 1200 square feet in this house without a basement so I make sure to go to the living room away from the bedrooms where no one can hear if I turn on the television, read a book, do a craft, or listen to you tube.

Now, with the time change I feel a lot more normal for a early morning person and it makes me very happy!

They need to stop this nonsense now!

We are adjusting to the time change. It did not get light until around 8 am this morning, so it was unusual to the cats who I feed at that time as it was still dark outside.

Glad you are feeling more normal! I wish we could keep the time the same. Makes no sense to me to change it back in the fall.
Oh my mil once told my husband that I was common but not normal. We have been married for 27 years, so I guess my husband doesn't care. :)

I just go with my internal clock all year. My cats have an internal time system and that is what motivates me. Yep, up stupid early during the winter and more reasonable during the spring/summer (by the clock). It doesn't matter - since I don't work any longer.
It is all the same to me - it's the clock that is WRONG!!!! LOL

Hi, I do just what you suggested. I have not changed my clocks and watch for many years. It makes my life easier as each clock change took me about.a month to get over. You just have to watch out for appointments and the time of TV programs. My clocks will be right again in 2 weeks time.

I am feeling it! Somewhere last week I saw that 8 Senators have introduced a bill to leave us on day light savings time permanently. LET"S HOPE SO!!! I will be zombie for two weeks now and there does not seem to be any way around it.

Someday I'll be able to do that too! I'm sure it's not good for a body to do this. You have it right!
Poor granddaughter didn't understand it at all ..wondering how she is getting along at school. Best not to think about it.. unless we get a call. LOL

Aww the poor kitties are confused. It's an adjustment for everyone, human and animals!

They should just leave the stupid time alone for sure.
Isn't great that we accept each other when we get married. We put up with each others abnormalities. Your husband loves you and that's all that matters. I'm sure you are normal as I am because I can tell by your comments! I hope that comment doesn't scare you!

That stupid clock change..they need to ask people what we think about this craziness. We are going to love the sun staying out till 9 p.m. soon.
You know, I can just see your cats waking you up. How sweet.

oh my goodness there is hope! They need to get with this piece of legislation soon.
Hope you get over that Zombie feeling soon!

Day light saving time makes most of my family sick. None of us like the spring forward crap. The Amish and Mennonite we work with and have as neighbors do not go by day light saving either. I think it should be put to a vote whether to keep it or get rid of it.

Vickie @Vickie's Kitchen and Garden said...

The Amish are very smart not to put up with this. Hope it goes on our ballot soon.

I'm with you about the time-it's crazy to do this every year and just seems harder to adjust to the older I get.
Thank you for the biscuits recipe. They look delicious and I will make!

Maybe that's it, I'm getting old.
Hope you love the rolls.
