We had a different anniversary yesterday (41 years) as I suspect everyone is having different celebrations in the last year.   First, we ordered pizza.  I know that's a weird thing to have but it was something that just sounded good.  Then, the wonderful husband took me on a surprise drive to Frankenmuth for our dessert.  We went to the coffee shop then on to Zehnder's Bakery to get donuts!

I think it will be a much remembered celebration!

Happy 41st Anniversary!! Sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate! I would love to visit Frankenmuth someday, and I'm sure that Zehnder's desserts are amazing. I'm glad you were able to celebrate your special day.
We are still doing a takeout here for special occasions, but I hope once we get the vaccines, we will be able to dine out again. Hard to believe that it has been a year since we dined out.

I hope in a couple of weeks we will be able to be vaccinated. I want the JJ vaccine so once and it's done but I guess I have to take whatever and I will. Can't wait!

Congratulations on staying together 41 years. That is something to brag about. Deciding together to order pizza shows how you cooperate with each other. Your husband surprising you with a trip to a restaurant for a treat shows he: thought about what your needs, choose something you would like and then followed thorough on his plan. Perhaps these are the reasons you are both still together.
