Free Kindle Books and Deals for 5/20/21 Plus Relieving the Heat!

It's been hot here ...oh man and it just happened so fast.   One day we were worried about frost then now we are burning up.

Yesterday, husband got out every fan out of the garage and washed them (they all came from garage sales).  You see, we are a old fashioned people and we put a fan in a window...that is till I look at him real mean and tell him it's time to install those air conditioners.

Today though, we are prepared. Bring on the heat, we can handle it.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Getting warmer by the day. Supposed to be in mid 80's this weekend. I think I can do without AC for a while yet - I have great air flow in the house, ceiling fans going and blinds closed. Unless it gets humid I will be good.
Worked outside a bit this morning and ALL day yesterday - it got pretty toasty out there. Stay cool!

Oh man, Hard to get used to the heat. So glad you are staying cool.
We have been in the upper 80's for the last little bit. Today there is the humidity settling in.

We usually turn our ac on by the end of April. But it's been such a cold May we've only turned it on once or twice. The southern humidity has come in in the last few days...oh my how glorious the spring has been without it. So we'll be turning it on more even if it isn't that hot because it helps so much with the dampness.

Glad you are prepared! Looks like you have some good fans.
It will be in the 80's and 90's this week. Too hot for me. I'll need to water my flowers and tomatoes. And my lettuce and peas were just starting to come up.

The humidity is the killer and it has come on strong today..maybe we should put the air conditioners to working for days like this.
We usually put ours up end of May if it gets hot.
